Daily Action

June 7,2023. 

An Effective Teacher :  I would to implement in my class to have more collaboration with other teachers as it is the most important influence to improve students achievement. I think collaborative teaching is one of the most difficult things to achieve, we have different teaching styles, ideas, education etc. So I think that as a Daily action improve the relationship between teachers so we all try to agree and come up with better lessons for our students. I think I can achieve this by showing them the UDL frame work of how we can plan a lesson and together change our current lessons into this format so our teaching can be more measurable and meaningful. 

June 8, 2023 

Concentrate on the purpose not the activities = Process vs result. 

Think about, What is the purpose of this lesson?  The target is the most important part. 

i would try to figure out for each lesson plan the purpose of it, not only fulfill the activities but rather use different thinking skills and apply scaffolding to my lesson plans. with the purpose to reach all my students because each one of them have different types of learning.

I will use different verbs to determine the goal of my lesson plan using the Bloom's Taxonomy Teacher Plan. Trying to recognize barriers in my learning environment and keeping assessments in mind. (Plan with the assessment in my mind) Why do I want my students to learn. ____ ? 

June 12, 2023 

Identify the possible barriers of my learning lesson using a map that divides the lesson into different parts and each part has it different struggles. 

Today we saw some examples and it was clearer for me how to use the Bloom Taxonomy verbs to change my learning goals. 

June 13, 2023 

Today we analyzed and reflected on our own types of assessments and it was really surprising to noticed that in Elementary school we only apply individual assessments and no collaborative ones, also the main assessment products we do is paper and pencil exams. 

I think this is not very effective, and from now on I will try to implement in my classroom different types of assessment that can give me meaningful evidence on my students growth.  

June 14,2023 

UDL is. Framework in which I can focus and design barrier free classes. There's the problem of practice in which a Gap exists between current practice and effective practice. With that said, I believe I can design better lessons if I can identify the possible barriers I might encounter before my lesson starts, so that way I'll be more prepared to have success and fulfill the expectations of learning with my students.

This class was super helpful for me, as a team we came up with different activities ideas and strategies to make our teaching more useful and meaningful, so that said, my daily actions will be provide feedback to my students and also the to give peer feedback. differentiation activities inside my classroom such as in the assessments. 

June 16,2023

Today we focus on working in our project redesigning our lesson plan using the UDL frame work. Even though is not ready yet... From now on I'll design my lessons with using this strategy so me teaching will be more meaningful and effective.
